Report on Deer View

In the morning we went to the Swansboro basket ball court to meet our friends.

Ashley, Spencer, Mackenzie and I rode in an old car. Three of us rode in the rumble seat on the way to Deer View. The ride was fun. I liked going through the puddles on the way there.

Mom and Mrs. Young would not drive through a deep puddle. Mom tried three times and didn’t make it. They left their cars there.

We went on to another puddle. We did not cross it. We crossed it with our feet. We walked up a hill. Once we got to the top we picked blackberries and ate them. We were looking for blackberries and Mr. Adams became stuck. The other kids pushed him out while I watched. I looked and saw a stick that was keeping him stuck.

We ate lunch where we could look down and see the old broken down building. We went to where the refrigerator was. Mr. Adams showed us pictures of what it liked like. I sat in an old fireplace chimney.

The group went back to the cars and rode back.

I liked eating blackberries the best and looking at the broken buildings.
